Internet Headquarters Chesapeake Signal Detachment (with some information about the Signal Corps of the James) |

The units making up these organizations are dedicated to the accurate historical representation of the role of the Signal Corps of the Federal and Confederate Armies during the American War Between the States (a.k.a. The Civil War). Its members are from Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia and, for the most part, reenact and perform living history demonstrations in this area (with some exceptions).
